Synopsis

Lush foliage, farm fresh food, friendly folks—it’s no wonder everyone loves a fall getaway to Mill Pond, Indiana. And this season, when a new chef arrives on the scene, nothing will ever be the same . . .

A California heart-throb, Tyne is fast becoming a legend in Mill Pond. While his easy cool and creative, Thai influenced culinary style have all the ladies in town salivating, Tyne is less interested in flirting than in finding the perfect spot for his own restaurant—and in staying single for as long as possible. His days working at the elegant Lakeview Stables resort are numbered from day one—until he meets a woman who stops him in his tracks.

A quiet beauty and free spirit who owns a stained glass shop—above which Tyne rents an apartment—Daphne seems to have her life in order. But when her boyfriend leaves her, for his soon-to-be-ex-wife no less, she’s destroyed. Tyne offers a shoulder to cry on. But that’s just a first course. After a slow boil, their relationship turns into something far deeper than either of them expected. Yet is Daphne really over her ex—and is Tyne ready to commit to a life in Mill Pond, much less to her? Time—and a few challenges—will tell if they’re just cooking up a

Cooking Up Trouble [1]

Nothing stirs the pot like a new man in town…

Welcome to Mill Pond and small-town country living, filled with fresh air, fresh food, and plenty of fresh gossip—especially when it comes to romance…

It’s impossible not to notice when someone new shows up in Mill Pond. Especially someone as obviously out-of-place as Ian McGregor. His stylish suit and fancy car scream “city slicker.” And when Tessa Lawrence discovers he can’t even change a tire, she has no choice but to help. That’s just what the locals do. And when she finds out Ian’s her new neighbor, of course she’s obliged to invite him to dinner too…

Turns out Ian’s come from New York to open a luxury resort on the property next door to Tessa’s farm, where she grows berries and sells her famous jams and delectable baked goods. But despite their quickly growing friendship and temptingly close proximity, Tessa plans to keep things with Ian strictly neighborly. For one thing, Ian’s got a fiancée who, unlike Tessa, doesn’t have dirt under her nails. Plus, Tessa knows from bitter experience that a guy this gorgeous is all too likely to break a simple country girl’s heart. Even if he’s as sweet as one of her cinnamon buns—and equally hard to resist…

Opposites Distract [2]

In small-town Mill Pond, Indiana, living the good life means kicking back country-style, opening your home to friends—and opening your heart to sweet surprises…

Harmony Meyer arrives in Mill Pond focused on one thing—finishing her novel in peace and quiet while her apartment building undergoes renovations. A month at her friend Tessa McGregor’s rural resort is exactly what she needs—until she discovers that Tessa’s brother-in-law, Brody McGregor, is another guest. Tall, dark, and handsome is a distraction she can’t afford. Especially when it’s clear from the start they have nothing in common…

Brody’s a rugged yet polished and punctual businessman. Harmony’s a sassy, down-to-earth artist who makes her own hours. He likes kids, she doesn’t even want a pet. Still, when circumstances conspire to throw them together in Tessa’s warm kitchen every evening, the heat between them begins to simmer. Is there a future for two such opposites? Harmony’s not sure, but the more time she spends with Brody, the easier it is to cast him in the role of her romantic hero—and to wonder if love might be the perfect exception to every one of her rules…

Love on Tap [3]

There’s a different rhythm to life in small-town Mill Pond, Indiana. And with the easy pace come friendships that are built to last and love that starts out on a slow simmer…

Charming boutiques, picturesque farms, and a growing foodie scene have turned Mill Pond into a tourist destination. And thanks to the culinary skills of Paula Hull, its beautiful rural resort is leading the way. The widowed mom left behind the stress of the New York City restaurant world to spend more time with her two young children. And now she’s ready to see if there’s more out there for her than being a chef and single parent…

Chase Atwood is the local good guy with a bad reputation. He’s a respected business owner and trusted friend, but the drop-dead gorgeous bar owner usually has women beating down his door—and Paula knows to keep her distance. His burgers and beer, on the other hand, are not off limits. But their mutual admiration is always on the back burner—until Chase turns up the heat. Soon he’s determined to prove to Paula that he’s the one key ingredient missing in her life…

First Kiss, On The House [5]

An infusion of romance is in the mix in the lush and charming town of Mill Pond, Indiana, where anything—and everything—can happen.

As a schoolteacher, Miriam is used to being the one in charge. A born leader with a whip-smart sensibility and a pair of legs that can’t be beat, she is adored by many but has never found her one true love. For the most part, that’s fine: she has a fulfilling career, a big-hearted family, and a great social life with her best friend Daphne and her better half, Chef Tyne. But when a micro-brewery owner comes to Mill Pond in search of a new beginning, Miriam can’t help but wonder whether fate has something else in store for her. . .

Joel is a single father whose divorce left him bruised, bitter, and solely focused on running his business. He doesn’t have time to go out on dates, much less begin a new relationship. But when he meets Miriam, he’s offered a glimpse into a life he never thought possible. Her warmth and wit are an alluring combination—and she hits it off with his daughter, too. Soon Joel finds himself fantasizing about spending a lifetime of “happy hours” with Miriam. But are each of these strong-willed singletons willing to give up their independence and give love a chance? All it takes is just one kiss to find out . . .

Special Delivery [6]

In Mill Pond, Indiana, neighbors always look out for each other. And even though tourists are drawn to the small town’s charms, it’s the locals who fill it with warmth . . .

Traveling nurse Karli Redding doesn’t have many fond memories of her aging grandfather, Axel—or of Mill Pond. But with Axel’s health in decline and Karli on a month’s hiatus between jobs, she volunteers to set him up with the help he needs. The house and her grandfather could both use some TLC. Good thing Keagan Monroe, the very attractive mailman next door, is always ready to lend a hand . . .

Not a lot slips by a mailman, and Keagan appreciates Karli’s dogged attempts to spruce up the neglected property. Painting, fixing the sagging porch, delivering a constant stream of casseroles from caring neighbors—he’ll help however he can, all while keeping his feelings under wraps. A short-term fling just doesn’t fit into his schedule. But with each passing day, Karli’s bond with the town grows a little deeper. Has fate sent her exactly where she needs to be? Karli’s willing to find out, and the first step is figuring out the perfect route to Keagan’s heart . . .
