ℝℂ European Reading Challenge 2015

Our third Reading Challenge this year, is the European Reading Challenge 2015 organised by Rose City Reader, and anyone can still sign up until the end of the year.

The challenge is to read (audio books do not count!) and review books by European authors or books set in European countries (Note: England, Scotland, Wales and Northen Ireland are all ONE country, the United Kindom, hence any one book relating to any of these countries counts as one entry for the UK).
Each book must be by a different author and set in a different country.  Any length or genre counts.

The following countries count towards this challenge: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Macedonia, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and Vatican City. 



There are the following different levels of participation:
  • Five Star (Deluxe Entourage): Read at least five books by different European authors or books set in different European countries. [this is the minimum level we have pledged to achieve]
  • Four Star (Honeymooner): Read four qualifying books.
  • Three Star (Business Traveler): Read three qualifying books.
  • Two Star (Adventurer): Read two qualifying books.
  • One Star (Pensione Weekender): Read just one qualifying book.

As an added bonus, the participant who has reviewed the highest number of qualifying books, will be awarded a Jet Setter Prize consisting of a $25 gift card for Powell's or Amazon.
